Colombian fine rum developed under the supervision of French distillers. Distinctive and round aromas of vanilla, cinnamon, clove, and almond. Spice bouquet and fresh oak on the palate. Lightly viscous, silky, and sweet finish.
Unlike the main Columbian spirit called Aguardiente, Dos Maya is strictly distilled as French Antilles rum. It commemorates the origin of alcohol in Columbia through the legend of two Mayan explorers. Mayan civilization never spread in Columbia but some tradition, food, and artifacts were conveyed from the Yucatec Mayan people up to the Isthmo-Colombian region.
